MORGANTOWN, Ky. – On Thursday, Morgantown Bank & Trust announced the construction of a new state-of-the-art office in Morgantown. The bank says the multi-million dollar project is an ongoing commitment to the city.

The 14,200-square-foot office will be built at 202 North Main Street, across the street from its current main office.

The project includes a skywalk connecting the new office to the Data Center located at 208 North Main Street.

Morgantown Bank & Trust’s current office will be demolished when the project is complete. The site will be converted into an employee parking lot and community green space.

“Morgantown Bank & Trust has always been committed to investing in the communities we serve, and this project is a testament to that commitment,” said Jason Jones, President and CEO of Morgantown Bank & Trust. “By building this facility in the heart of Morgantown, we are honoring our roots while also preparing for the future. We look forward to continuing to provide outstanding financial services to our customers in a space that reflects our dedication to excellence.”

The bank says the new office and data center will employ more than 30.

Construction is set to begin on March 24, 2025.
