BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Morgantown Bank & Trust has expanded with the groundbreaking of a new location in Warren County.

Officials with Morgantown Bank & Trust and Sunbelt Construction celebrated the start of the project on Wednesday.

With the bank’s sixth overall location, the multi-million dollar investment will include 3,000 square feet for the bank, along with 1,500 square feet for an additional business space, the bank says.

Morgantown Bank & Trust says the bank will be located at 8051 Nashville Road in the Rich Pond area.

“As a city that continues to be recognized nationally for economic development, it is exciting for the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce to be part of this groundbreaking today and see local companies continue to invest in our area,” said Dawn Johnson, vice president at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. “The growth we are experiencing is because of investments like these.”

Construction is expected to be completed in June 2024.
