(CNN) – More than 6 million eggs are being recalled for possible salmonella contamination.

That’s according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Officials say the Black Sheep Egg Company recalled hundreds of thousands of egg cartons last month after testing found seven strains of salmonella.

Those eggs were distributed to retailers and wholesalers nationwide under various brand names.

Separately, Kenz Henz is also recalling its grade AA large pasture-raised eggs due to the same concern.

No related illnesses have been reported so far.

Consumers are advised to return the eggs to the store for a full refund.
