Months-long drug investigation results in arrest of Logan County man

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky.- A man was arrested on multiple drug charges following a months-long investigation by the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force.

Kenneth Embry, 33, is lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.

According to a news release from the task force, detectives executed a search warrant at a motel room and a vehicle.

Detectives said they located multiple drugs, including suspected methamphetamine and heroin, marijuana, Xanax and other prescription pills.

Authorities said they also located a large amount of cash, bags, weighing scales and a handgun.

Embry is charged with numerous possession and trafficking offenses, among other charges.

He’s being held on a $25,000 bond.
