Monday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky
Governor Andy Beshear announces 456 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, September 28th. This brings the total number of cases since March 6th in Kentucky to 66,939. 11, 737 have recovered.
There have been 7,200 total cases in the following surrounding counties combined since the start of the pandemic, 6,008 have recovered.
In total there have been 139 deaths reported from COVID-19 in the area.
According to a white house report today, Warren County has entered back into the red zone over the weekend.
Here’s a look at the total cases in the area and the additional number of cases added over the weekend from the Barren River District Health Department.
