Missing man found dead in Harlan County

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. – A man missing out of Harlan County has been found dead, according to authorities.
The Kentucky State Police says it got a call from the Harlan Police Department about a dead male found Wednesday morning near the railroad tracks in the Sunshine community.
Troopers say the body was identified as 34-year-old Jerry Foley, who was last seen Jan. 15 in the Mary Alice community.
Authorities say Foley’s body is being sent for an autopsy at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort.
The investigation is ongoing.
