SPRINGBORO, Ohio – A man reported missing in Kentucky has been arrested following a pursuit in Ohio.

According to the Springboro Police Department, officers on Monday identified a white Toyota Sienna traveling around 8:47 a.m. on State Route 741 near Pennyroyal Road.

Authorities say the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop, however the vehicle fled, leading to a pursuit.

The suspect vehicle then fled further until it was involved in a crash at the intersection of SR 725 and Paragon Road.

Two occupants reportedly exited the vehicle and ran from the scene.

Businesses and schools in the area were asked to lock down as a precautionary measure, officers say. Police say this was due to them learning the driver had been involved in recent armed robberies, and ammunition and firearms were found in the vehicle.

After an extensive search using drones, K-9s and the Montgomery County SWAT Team, authorities say the driver of the vehicle, identified as 18-year-old Trevor Walker, was apprehended from a storm drain.

Walker had previously been shared as missing by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office last week.

The Franklin Police Department, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Miamisburg Police Department, the Miami Township Police Department, US Marshals, the Centerville Police Department and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force assisted during the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
