Metcalfe Middle School staff vs. students basketball game ends with score 69-49
EDMONTON, Ky. – It was a fierce battle, but in the end, the Old School ballers were too much for the eighth-grade boys basketball team to handle in the second annual Students versus Staff Showdown at Metcalfe County Middle School.
According to Metcalfe County Schools, the final score was 69-49.
The eighth grade boys team was coached by MCMS boys basketball coach Daniel Garrett, while the staff team was coached by MCMS girls basketball coach Lesley London.
Both teams brought their cheerleaders, and the eighth-grade girls’ basketball players served as the refs and scorekeepers.
Staff included coaches, counselors, teachers, custodians, maintenance techs and the SRO.
The entire student body watched from the stands.
It was a great day of fun on the Hill.
