Metcalfe County Schools to close Friday due to staff, student illness

Edmonton, Ky. – Metcalfe County Schools will be closed on Friday.

According to a social media post, MCS decided to close schools due to staff and student illness.

The post states that Friday will be a non-traditional instruction day.

MCS asks parents to call their child’s school if they have any questions.

The middle school boys’ home basketball games scheduled for Thursday and Friday are cancelled.
