Metcalfe County man accused of firing weapon at wife’s vehicle
EDMONTON, Ky.- A Metcalfe County man is behind bars after deputies said he fired multiple shots at his wife’s vehicle as she was leaving his residence.
It happened Saturday in the 200 block of Junior Caffee Road.
According to an arrest citation, Robert Vincent, 45, and his wife had been in an argument. When the woman was exiting the driveway in her vehicle, deputies said Vincent fired a 9mm handgun at the vehicle, striking it three times. Police said they recovered several shell casings in the driveway.
Vincent was later apprehended during a traffic stop. Police said they located the handgun, along with a marijuana pipe, and plastic bags of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana.
Vincent is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and several drug-related offenses.
He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $10,000 bond.
