Metcalfe County man accused of assaulting girlfriend with television

EDMONTON, Ky.- A Metcalfe County man is accused of assaulting and severely injuring his own girlfriend.

Jeremy Fancher, 32, of Edmonton is charged with second-degree assault.

According to the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office, Fancher’s girlfriend sustained head, back, leg and ear injuries, as well as a broken arm.

The woman told authorities that Fancher struck her with a crow bar, table legs, extension cords and even a television.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Deputies say they found Fancher hiding inside of his home.

He was arrested and is now lodged inside the Barren County Detention Center.

Fancher is being held on a $25,000 bond.
