Metcalfe County High School FCA hosts personal care drive for Afghanistan refugees

EDMONTON Ky.-Refugees from Afghanistan are now residing in Bowling Green. To help ease them into the transition, a supply drive is being held at a local high school down the road.

The Metcalfe County High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes is hosting a personal care drive for the refugees moving into Bowling Green.

A box is set up in the front lobby, and everyone is encouraged to drop off any personal care items. These can range from toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and laundry detergent just to name a few.

This drive started as the Metcalfe County High School FCA meets every Friday, and they saw this opportunity to help those in need.
