Menards officially opens at Bowling Green location

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s a day that all of south-central Kentucky has been waiting for. Menards in Bowling Green has officially opened its doors.

Shoppers arrived early and often on Tuesday, looking to find deals on their favorite items, greeted by employees ready to assist them navigating the new store.

Menards general manager Steve Hendricks shared why Bowling Green was chosen for this newest location.

“We wanted to increase our footprint in the Kentucky market,” Hendricks says. “And Bowling Green is such a great community that thought it’d be a good fit for us. We are a one-stop-shop. We have everything from lumber, painting, electrical, oil, even grocery. We have a huge garden center.”

Menards will host its grand opening celebrations starting this Sunday through Saturday, May 18. Events will include an appearance by legendary chainsaw carver John Gage and a racecar display.

The store is located at 1948 Menard Street off of Campbell Lane.
