Meet the local woman behind a festive car lighting up Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- As the season changes and the sun sets earlier, one local is lighting up the night in Bowling Green.
Tina Duffy, a Bowling Green resident, is spreading Christmas joy by keeping the streets of the city lit with festive lights. Rolling around the city in her car, Duffy’s heart is filled with holiday cheer as she shares the spirit of the season.
Duffy, the owner of her car, “Marshmallow,” enjoys seeing the smiles she brings to people as they admire her decorated car.
“It’s really cool, especially if I go somewhere and park the car, and then I get out and everybody’s like, ‘Look at the car!’ The little kids are just so cute about it. It’s just fun. I mean, who doesn’t love to see Christmas lights this time of year? And it’s been hard for everybody lately, let’s spread some joy around,” she says.
Duffy is eager to bring together others who have wrapped their cars with lights to join in the festive fun. If you see her riding around the city, don’t hesitate to take in all the Christmas cheer.
