Medical marijuana dispensary to reopen Saturday in Beaver Dam

BEAVER DAM, Ky. (K105) – A medical marijuana dispensary in Beaver Dam is reopening after closing temporarily due to running out of product.
That’s according to a report by K105.
The Post Dispensary at 300 N. Main St. was the first business of its type to open its doors in Kentucky on December 13, 2025, according to K105.
Several days after opening day, K105 reports the business sold about 1,000 8-ounce packages of medical marijuana, completely selling its inventory.
The business is expected to reopen Saturday, Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Medical marijuana became legal to purchase in Kentucky on Jan. 1. However, K105 reports the process has been held back by legal requirements that “all products be grown and processed in the Commonwealth.”
A second dispensary, Speakeasy Dispensary, has also opened on Alysheba Way in Lexington, according to K105.
