Med Center Health to break ground on hybrid emergency room, urgent care

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Med Center Health is establishing a new facility.

Med Center Health will partner with Dallas-based Intuitive Health to bring a hybrid emergency room and urgent care facility to South Central Kentucky, according to an announcement on Tuesday.

The 12,000-square-foot facility will be located at 457 Lovers Lane in The Hub. The groundbreaking of Med Center Health Emergency + UrgentCare will be held on Wednesday, March 19 at 11 am.

Med Center says the facility will offer emergency and urgent care by board-certified staff and emergency medicine physicians.

Patients will be billed for emergency and urgent care at the level of care received.

The facility is expected to be open by the spring of 2026.
