Med Center Health Foundation applications open for Teen Ambassador Program

SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY- If you have a high school student or recent high school graduate looking into the medical field but don’t know where to start, Med Center Health is back with its annual Teen Ambassador Program.

The program gives students the chance to see everything that it takes to work in the medical field, from the ICU, CCU, primary care clinics and so much more. Now, applications for this year’s Teen Ambassador Program are now open.

Amy Hardin, executive director of the Med Center Health Foundation, says, “It’s amazing to know how many people it takes to really operate a healthcare facility. And again, when you’re 14 to 18 years old, you’re figuring out what it is you want to do with the rest of your life, and we really just want to open up their eyes to see what all it is that you can do to be in the healthcare field. “
