Med Center Health collects more than 1,000 non-perishable food items for Salvation Army

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local hospital is contributing to those in need this holiday season.

Med Center Healh hosted the annual “Stuff the Turkey” on Friday to collect items for The Salvation Army of Bowling Green.

Employees donated more than 1,100 non-perishable food items.

Items collected by Med Center Health include canned meats, macaroni and cheese, cereals, and canned soups.

Floor 5C donated the most items and received the coveted Tom Turkey award.
