Med Center Health celebrating 100 years in 2026
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Med Center Health has launched a yearlong celebration honoring its 100th anniversary.
According to a release on Wednesday by Med Center Health, throughout 2026, it invites the community to join it as it reflects on its past, celebrates its present and looks forward to its future.
During the anniversary year, Med Center Health says the public can expect the following:
- Med Center Health Moments, or stories highlighting pivotal moments in its history that have shaped who it is today.
- Faces of Med Center Health, or spotlights on the individuals “whose dedication, expertise and passion have contributed to the success” of the organization across generations.
- 100 Acts of Service, an initiative encouraging teams from across Med Center Health to come together to serve our communities beyond its walls. From food and item drives to community events and more, the organization says it looks forward to giving back to the communities who have trusted it with their healthcare for decades and beyond.
- Facility openings, including the opening of Med Center Health Emergency + UrgentCare – Lovers Lane in the spring and the opening of the High Street Tower at The Medical Center at Bowling Green in late summer.
- Epic implementation: Anticipated for late 2026, Med Center says it will celebrate the go-live of Epic, its new electronic health record system, which will further improve patient and physician experiences across all Med Center Health facilities.
Med Center Health says these highlights are “just the beginning,” with many other moments planned throughout the year.
