McCracken Co. Sheriff’s Office searching for missing man

PADUCAH, Ky. – The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing adult.

Jose Cortez, 24, was last seen at his home at Indian Oaks in Paducah at about 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2.

Officials say Cortez is an adult that suffers from mental health issues. His current mental health status is unknown at this time.

Cortez is described as a Hispanic male with short, dark hair, brown eyes and no facial hair.

Cortez was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jean pants.

Cortez walked away from his home and is possibly in the Paducah and McCracken County area.
