Mayor declares state of emergency in Morgantown
MORGANTOWN, Ky. – The City of Morgantown is under a state of emergency.
According to the executive order by Morgantown mayor Billy Phelps, Morgantown has sustained “catastrophic damage” due to recent flooding.
The document states this has impacted public and private property, infrastructure and services.
The executive order was signed by Phelps on April 7.
