Many show up to job fair at Kentucky Career Center

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hundreds of people showed up to the Kentucky Career Center Wednesday, hopeful to find employment.

At the Kentucky Career Center, they along with the South Central Workforce Development Board held one of the board’s largest connecting events they have all year. An open house in downtown Bowling Green brought hundreds of new Americans, veterans and many others with the hope of finding a good job.

News 40 spoke to Bionca Wilson who works for the board, who said they try to hold the Warren County job fair twice a year, and it’s a wonderful sight to see so many people turn out.

Wilson said even if you missed today, there are always opportunities to find work. The business representative told us that every month, there is a chance to find employment. Wilson asks the community to keep an eye on both the career center and board’s social media accounts.
