Man wanted on attempted murder, attempted robbery charges arrested in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man wanted on a warrant for multiple charges out of Tennessee is behind bars.
Earlier this month, detectives with the Glasgow Police Department began assisting the Christian County Sheriff’s Department with an investigation into Isaac Adkisson, 19, of Glasgow. Adkisson is formerly from Dickson, Tennessee.
Police say Adkisson has involvement in several crimes in Christian County.
Detectives recovered evidence from Adkisson’s latest residence, which police say linked him to crimes not yet reported in Clarksville, Tennessee.
After Glasgow detectives shared this information with the Clarksville Police Department, along with a photograph of Adkisson, police say they identified him in unsolved vehicle thefts and break-ins in the Clarksville area.
On Monday, Dec. 12, the Glasgow Police Department arrested Adkisson on an extraditable outstanding arrest warrant out of Tennessee.
He remains in the Barren County Detention Center and faces several indictment charges for this previous case in Clarksville, including criminal attempt to commit second-degree murder, criminal attempt to commit carjacking, employ a firearm with intent to go armed – dangerous felony, criminal attempt to commit aggravated robbery and reckless endangerment – deadly weapon involved.
Further charges are expected, according to police.
