Man wanted in Florida murder investigation arrested in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A Florida man, wanted for murder, was arrested in Hopkinsville on Tuesday.

The Hopkinsville Police Department says detectives, SWAT officers, K9 officers, and Crime Suppression Unit Officers, in coordination with the Orange County, FL Sheriff’s Office and federal partners, executed an operation to find and locate Samuel Moore, of Orlando, Florida.

HPD says Moore was wanted for a probation violation for a second-degree murder and robbery in Florida.

Moore was lodged at the Christian County Jail pending extradition to Florida.
