Man wanted for murder among arrests after vehicle pursuit into Franklin
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Multiple men are facing charges after a vehicle pursuit from Bowling Green into Franklin.
Shortly before midnight on Friday, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to a call in the 600 block of McIntyre Street for an attempted burglary.
According to deputies, the caller stated they saw a male wearing a mask next to their neighbor’s house with a rifle, along with another male and a vehicle.
Deputies say on surveillance they obtained, there were at least two males with firearms. While deputies responded, they say other deputies spotted the vehicle parked at FiveStar on Nashville Road.
Upon contact, deputies say the vehicle fled south on Nashville Road.
The Kentucky State Police pursued the vehicle into Franklin with assistance from the WCSO.
Deputies say a suspect jumped from the vehicle and ran in Franklin, while the driver later fled after leaving the roadway.
The driver was quickly apprehended, and deputies say a Franklin police officer later captured the passenger.
The third suspect, who had remained in the neighborhood, was arrested Saturday morning.
The sheriff’s office says items were thrown from the vehicle during the pursuit, and a stolen gun was found on the side of the road.
The operator of the vehicle, identified as Corbett Finley, 24, was served on a warrant for murder out of Louisville.
The passenger located running in Franklin was identified as Kenneth Pearson, 32, of Louisville. The passenger located in the neighborhood was identified as Daniel Vincent, 35, of Louisville.
All three remain at the Warren County Detention Center.
Charges range from convicted felons in possession of firearms and attempted burglary to other various traffic and drug related charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
