Man shot in Bowling Green, suspect detained

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Police report just after 6 p.m. Wednesday they received a call that someone fired gunshots at 249 Greenwood Lane.

When officers arrived at the Greenwood Flats apartment complex, they located one man who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his foot. 

Police say the man was transferred to The Medical Center at Bowling Green where he was being treated for his injuries. 

“We believe these two men know each other, but we’re just not sure right now the nature of their relationship. We’ve got to determine exactly what led up to the shooting and then what course of action is going to be taken after that,” said Ward.

Dursun Feyzul (27) of Bowling Green is charged with first degree assault.
