Man sentenced in wrong-way crash that killed Bowling Green man
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 65 in 2022.
Forty-four-year-old Thomas Catalina has been sentenced after pleading guilty last week to vehicular homicide and host of other charges.
The defense and prosecution settled the case earlier this month in felony mediation.
Catalina was charged in connection with the Aug. 21 wreck on I-65 in Louisville that killed 26-year-old Rajnu Masoud of Bowling Green.

According to an arrest report, police said he was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of traffic on I-65 when he hit several vehicles.
