Man rescued from camper during floods in Warren County
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A man is safe thanks to the efforts of multiple agencies during flooding in Warren County.
According to the Richardsville Fire Department, firefighters received a water rescue call at the Beech Bend campground at 8:47 a.m. Sunday morning for a welfare check.
The department says upon launching a boat, one man was found trapped on top of a camper to avoid rising flood waters.
Richardsville personnel say the rescue was successful.
The RFD received assistance at the scene from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Warren County Emergency Management.
