Man located in grocery store parking lot charged with drug possession

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man is facing drug charges in Glasgow.
Glasgow Police Department Major Terry Flatt says officers responded to a suspicious person complaint at the Save-A-Lot parking lot on Sunday.
When officers arrived, they located Jame E. Birge, 47, who allegedly possessed suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe inside a small tin box.
Birge was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance 1st-degree 1st-offense (methamphetamine).
Birge was lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.
