Man indicted on sexual abuse charge in Metcalfe County

NEW HAVEN, Ky. – One man is formally charged in an alleged sexual abuse case in Metcalfe County.

According to a uniform citation, 42-year-old Brian Ballard was arrested in Nelson County on Nov. 13 on an indictment warrant on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

The citation states the violation occurred in New Haven in Metcalfe County last month.

Court records state Ballard is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.

Ballard is scheduled for arraignment on Nov. 25 at 9 a.m.
