Man indicted in Muhlenberg child abuse investigation involving 7-month-old

GREENVILLE, Ky. – A Muhlenberg County man is formally charged with criminal abuse involving a 7-month-old.

According to the Kentucky State Police, 23-year-old Tristan Bolton of Greenville was indicted on Oct. 24 on one count of first-degree criminal abuse.

Authorities say Child Protective Services contacted KSP one month ago reporting a 7-month-old was being treated for multiple serious injuries.

A thorough investigation revealed Bolton was responsible for the injuries, authorities say.

A warrant was issued for Bolton on Sept. 24, leading to his arrest, according to KSP.

Bolton was transported to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
