Man fatally shoots himself in front of police following traffic stop
GLASGOW, Ky. – At about 7:03 a.m. Tuesday, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to rolling domestic violence call.
A wife was being followed by her husband after a domestic incident at their residence, according to a release from the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy observed the husband’s truck and made a traffic stop on Happy Valley Road in Glasgow.
The deputy gave the male verbal commands to exit the vehicle and moments later heard a single gun shot come from inside the vehicle. The male fatally shot himself, according to the release.
Names of the people involved have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
