Man charged with resisting arrest in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing charges after an incident on Thursday.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded around 11 a.m. to the area of East 10th Avenue and College Street for a report of a suspicious person.
Police say upon arrival, they spoke with Tyler Bray, 31, of Bowling Green.
Authorities say they learned after receiving Bray’s personal information that he had a full extradition warrant out of Tennessee.
Police say Bray attempted to flee and was taken to the ground.
According to police, Bray started to kick and try to pull away from officers to avoid being placed into handcuffs.
During a search, police say they located a bottle of unknown pills, which were believed to be possible acetaminophen and hydrocodone pills.
Bray was taken into custody and transported to the Warren County Detention Center.
He is charged with resisting arrest and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (opiates).
