The Kentucky State Police says the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office asked for their assistance regarding a missing person investigation on Aug. 11, 2022.

KSP troopers and detectives responded to the scene on Betty Sparkman Road in Metcalfe County, where authorities say they confirmed the remains were human.

The state medical examiner’s office identified the remains to be Hart, according to police.
