Man charged with fleeing police in Horse Cave after calling FBI

HORSE CAVE, Ky. – A man is facing multiple charges after a vehicle pursuit in Horse Cave on Sunday.
According to a uniform citation, the Horse Cave Police Department was dispatched around 4 a.m. due to a male calling the Federal Bureau of Investigation over political views.
Police say the male was identified as 66-year-old Kenneth Brown of Louisville.
Authorities say Brown had left before their arrival.
However, police say they located Brown driving and turned around to reach him.
During this time, police say they traveled 3.5 miles before taking the north ramp to Interstate 65.
From there, police say Brown entered Highway 218 and swerved into oncoming traffic. On I-65, authorities say he continued, swerving between two right lanes.
Authorities say Brown stopped at exit 71.
Police say Brown was pulled out at gunpoint and placed into custody.
Brown was transported to the Hart County Jail on charges of third-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, failure to wear seat belts and menacing.
