Man charged with first-degree sexual abuse of child in Monroe County

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A wanted man is behind bars amid a sexual abuse investigation in Monroe County.

According to jail records, 41-year-old Jacob Keith was arrested in Monroe County on Thursday.

Court records state a warrant of arrest on indictment was issued for Keith on Dec. 15.

Keith currently faces a charge of first-degree sexual abuse, victim under the age of 12.

Keith remains at the Barren County Detention Center. According to court records, he is currently incarcerated on a $10,000 cash bond.

Court records state he is scheduled for arraignment on Jan. 15 at 9 a.m.
