Man charged with drug possession after traffic stop in Scottsville

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – One man is facing charges following a traffic stop in Scottsville.

The Scottsville Police Department says on Tuesday around 7 p.m., officers initiated a traffic stop on a Dodge pickup driven by 66-year-old Timothy R. Pedigo of Adolphus for a traffic-related offense.

Police say through an investigation, they learned Pedigo possessed methamphetamine and an open alcohol beverage container.

Pedigo faces charges of speeding, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), no registration plates, no registration receipt, operating with an expired operators license and possession of an open alcohol container.

Pedigo has since been released from the Allen County Detention Center.
