Man causes disturbance, allegedly possessed drugs in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man is charged with drug possession after being located walking between yards.

On Friday, Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Major Terry Flatt says the department responded to Bowan Avenue to complaints of a man causing a disturbance.

Flatt says officers located Joseph Vibbert, 40, walking through yards.

Officers say Vibbert possessed a baggie of suspected methamphetamine, scales, and drug paraphernalia.

Vibbert was arrested and transported to the Barren County Detention Center.

Vibbert is charged with public intoxication control substance (excludes alcohol), trafficking in control substance 1st degree 1st offense (<2 gms methamphetamine), possession drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana.
