Man arrested, suspected of robbery involving a gun

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Police have arrested a man they say is a suspect in a robbery.

BGPD says around 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday, a locksmith was called to the 400 block of Sheppard Court for a service call. When the locksmith arrived, police say a male approached the locksmith while brandishing a handgun and demanded items.

Police say during the robbery, the male holding the gun struck the victim in the face and head with the gun. According to police, a second male also assaulted the victim, and both men stole property.

Police say both suspects then ran toward McDivitt Court.

Officers identified one suspect as 24-year-old Adrian Cannon and located him a short time later inside of an apartment on McDivitt Court. Cannon was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery.

BGPD says they know the identity of the second suspect and have applied for an arrest warrant.
