Man arrested on rape charge in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man was arrested early Tuesday morning in a rape investigation.
Around 4:30 a.m., the Bowling Green Police Department says it received a call for a reported rape involving a child.
Police say they were told a man picked the victim up on Dennis Way and drove the minor to the Tomblinson Way area, where police say the crime is alleged to have occurred.
Police say they received a description of the man and his vehicle before officers found the vehicle on Dennis Way.
Darryl Kelly, 38, was taken into custody.
Kelly was transported to the Warren County Detention Center. He faces a first-degree rape charge.
The investigation is ongoing.
