Man arrested on DUI charge in Cave City

CAVE CITY, Ky. – Cave City police arrested a man on DUI charges Friday after responding to a wreck.

According to Cave City Police Department, on June 3, two Cave City police officers responded to Wilson Road in reference to a possible wreck with injuries. Upon arrival, police identified Johnathan Jones.

Jones stated he was on a motorcycle, and two deer caused him to wreck, stated police. According to officials, Jones was determined to be impaired after one of the officers detected the odor of alcohol.

Jones was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol .08, fourth or more offense, driving on a DUI suspended license, second offense, and no operator’s license – autocycle.

Jones was lodged in Barren County Detention Center.
