Man arrested on child sexual abuse material offenses in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One man is facing over 20 counts of child sexual abuse material offenses in Bowling Green.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department began investigating an online crime complaint involving nearly 96 files showing images of child sexual abuse material.

Police say the images appeared to depict victims under the age of 12.

Through an investigation, police say they identified the individual connected to the online account as 18-year-old Khup Sang of Bowling Green.

Authorities say while speaking with Sang, he admitted to intentionally viewing and downloading the images since he was around 14 years old through recent dates.

Police say Sang additionally stated he was aware the images were of minors and that he believed the majority of the victims were under the age of 10.

Several electronics were seized and are being examined for additional content, according to police.

Sang was arrested and remains at the Warren County Regional Jail with no set bond.

He currently faces 25 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12.
