Man allegedly wields screwdriver in Hopkinsville vape shop robbery

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – One man is facing charges after allegedly using a screwdriver to carry out a Hopkinsville robbery.
According to a uniform citation, the Hopkinsville Police Department was dispatched Tuesday to a vape shop on Skyline Drive regarding a male armed with a screwdriver demanding a vape or he would “get it himself.”
Authorities say the male then went around the counter and illegally took a vape before exiting the store.
Police say they located the male, identified as 42-year-old Dustin Lee, on Skyline Drive near a Burger King.
Authorities say Lee was still armed with the screwdriver and had the vape in his possession.
Lee was arrested and transported to the Christian County Detention Center.
He faces a charge of first-degree robbery.
