Man airlifted to hospital after vehicle crash in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A 23-year-old man was airlifted to a hospital after a single vehicle crash in Warren County Sunday afternoon.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck occurred at 4:35 p.m. in the 11000 block of Nashville Road.

Authorities say the driver, Matthew West, had overcorrected and struck a tree.

Deputies said West was trapped inside the vehicle.

When authorities were able to free West, he was airlifted to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. His condition is not known at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
