Man accused of selling drugs near school

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After police received a tip about possible drug activity, they arrested a Bowling Green man who is accused of multiple drug trafficking offenses.

Officers responded to 2001 Rock Creek Road, Apt. 8B, late Monday night and said they could smell a marijuana odor coming from the apartment building.

The occupant of the apartment, David Lochner gave officers consent to enter and search the apartment, according to his arrest citation.

Once inside, officers found suspected marijuana and pills suspected to be controlled substances along with a variety of drug paraphernalia.

Lochner was arrested early Tuesday morning and is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense two grams or more of methamphetamine, trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense 10 dosage units or less of amphetamine, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense 10 dosage units or more of amphetamine, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense 20 dosage units or or more of an unspecified drug, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, violation of a Kentucky DVO and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
