Mammoth Cave closes due to wintery weather

MAMMOTH CAVE Ky.-Because of that wintery weather, Mammoth Cave National Park has announced that all facilities will be closed Thursday Feb. 11.

This includes all park offices, visitor services, and the Green River Ferry. Mammoth Cave parkway and Brownsville road will remain open, but all secondary roads will be closed.

As of Wednesday, the original plan was to have the park open on a two-hour delay today, but the weather conditions ultimately led to a full day closure.

Friday the park and the Green River Ferry will open late at 10 a.m.
