Madisonville police searching for missing woman, urging public for tips

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. – The Madisonville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to locate a missing woman.

Police say 33-year-old Gabrielle Campfield was seen on surveillance video in the area of Tactical Defense Manufacturing and Power Machinery and Implement on Hanson Road.

Authorities are asking residents who live north of Hillcrest Drive North and further north in the Hanson area to review surveillance footage, trail camera footage, doorbell cameras and other recording devices for possible sightings of Campfield on Aug. 17 between 3 and 8 p.m.

Police say Campfield was last seen wearing all dark-colored clothing with a sweatshirt tied around her waist. She may also be wearing a backpack and carrying a bag.

She is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 118 pounds with black hair.
