Mackenzie’s Flowers prepares for Valentine’s Day

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The busiest time of year is here for many florists.

We visited a local flower shop, Mackenzie’s Flowers, to see how they are getting prepared for Feb. 14.

Kelsey Hernandez, the floral designer says, “The atmosphere is very much like excitement, but chaos at the same time.”

Kelsey tells us it that it doesn’t get any easier, especially when it comes to those popular picks.

She says, “It could be between a dozen roses or different types of flowers, you might have some roses, some lilies, just different things. We try to base it off of preferences as far as floral and color.”

Mackenzie’s has a wide variety of gifts and keeping up with the countless floral arrangement orders, but that is not stopping anything.
