Louisville Metro Police issue ‘Operation Return Home’ for 13-year-old girl

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville Metro Police Department says it is currently working a missing person case involving a 13-year-old girl.

LMPD says its Missing Persons Unit has issued “Operation Return Home” for 13-year-old Amourette “Amy” Lopp.

Police say Lopp was last seen Sunday night in the area of Blue Creek Drive and Blue Lick Road in Louisville.

Authorities say she did not go to school the next day, and it is unknown what she was wearing. Police say Lopp is believed to be with non-custodial adults and has not contacted her family, who is concerned for her safety.

Lopp is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 115 pounds with brown/red hair and green eyes.
