Louisville man charged with stolen property, drug possession in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man was arrested in Glasgow on multiple charges Friday after Glasgow Police Department officers responded to a complaint at the Rural King parking lot.

James T. Minor, 49, of Louisville was determined to be the operator of a vehicle that had been parked in the parking lot for several days with a minor sleeping inside, according to a release by the GPD. The release further stated officers confirmed the vehicle had been entered as stolen.

Officers conducted a search warrant of the vehicle and located a shotgun, methamphetamine, gabapentin pills, digital scales, Septocaine, Polocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Minor was arrested and charged with selling or receiving a vehicle with removed or altered vin plate, receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000, drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of legendary drug (enhancement), possession of a controlled substance, third degree, drug unspecified (enhancement), possession of a controlled substance, first degree, second offense (methamphetamine)(enhancement), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and a prescription controlled substance not in a proper container, first offense.

Minor was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
